POSITION POSITION TITLE I TEACHER - WEST PARK ELEMENTARY - 1.0 FTE
STARTING DATE August 23, 2022
New to the District certified staff will have one paid day of training on August 22, 2022.
SALARY SCHEDULE Teacher's Salary Schedule is available on the District website.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the Title I teacher providing additional academic support and instruction in reading and/or math. Performs duties as assigned by the policies of the Board of Trustees, the Superintendent and the principal.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must hold or meet minimum requirements for an Idaho Standard Instructional Certificate with one or a combination of the following endorsements: All Subjects K-8, Blended Early Childhood/Early Childhood Special Education (Birth - Grade 3), and/or a Literacy K-12 endorsement. A teaching contract will not be issued until the credential is on file with the Moscow School District.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience or education in STEAM and technology/keyboarding preferred. Familiar with Makerspace teaching concepts. Experience finding and writing educational funding grants. Creative and works well in a team culture.
