Job Description
The Web Designer will create online experiences that position targeted content based on visitor intent and guide conversion to an expected result. They will create graphic layouts and written content that contribute to search visibility while increasing
awareness of company products and services. This position will review analytics to refine the effectiveness of sales funnels and is accountable to produce accurate, timely work while performing a variety of tasks. Reports to the Manager, Web and Digital.
Operational:
1. Gather and refine technical specifications and other documentation for websites and web applications based on key
corporate initiatives.
2. Create written content that supports corporate lead conversion initiatives.
3. Collaborate with graphics designers to craft web experiences that embrace and reflect the company’s aesthetic /
design philosophy.
4. Write well-designed, efficient, original code by leveraging web development best practices.
5. Interoperability of data handling and/or experience in Marketing Automation (Marketo), and other 3rd-party software (Arlo, DSPs, Wrike/Asana, Formstack, Google Analytics, hybris Commerce Platform).
6. Maintain and scale the company’s digital properties.
7. Design and implement web pages and microsites using current HTML and CSS practices.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following areas:
• Verifiable experience with web development, including web analytics tools.
• Experience with Wordpress site design and development.
• In-depth knowledge of current Adobe Creative Cloud software related to web design and development; namely,
Adobe Dreamweaver and/or Photoshop (equivalencies considered).
• Familiarity with JavaScript. Proficient in CSS, HTML..
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices – especially as it relates to e-Commerce.
• Ability to think creatively about solutions to complex problems.
• BS in Information Systems, Design or Visual Arts (or equivalent field / work experience).
Education and Experience:
• 3-5 years of Web Design experience
• Verifiable experience with web development, including web analytics tools.

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
