Job Summary
Selected as a Top Workplace in Philadelphia for the past 13 years and headquartered in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania, Movers Specialty Service, Inc (MSS) is in need of a Scheduler. Working in a fast pace high volume work environment, we currently have an immediate opening for a Scheduler to provide courteous and prompt customer and subcontractor contact by confirming service appointments and moving arrangements for our Nationwide Operations Department. Following each contact, pertinent information will be entered into our proprietary customer management systems. In addition, all candidates will be responsible for providing updates to our vast network of vendors on relevant changes to their service orders.
This position is a great entry-level opportunity to become part of our team and learn our unique business. In addition, we generally promote from within when openings become available.
Requirements
- All candidates must be able to work 11:00AM – 8:00PM EST shift
- Ideal candidate would possess excellent telephone etiquette, exceptional writing skills, and verbal communication
- Great customer service and follow-up skills are essential
- Demonstrate accuracy, reliability, diligence, and initiative
- Ideal candidate will possess proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Must be able to seamlessly move between tasks and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while producing high quality, high-quantity work.
- High school diploma required
- Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
- At least two years’ experience (includes internships) in high-volume customer service, problem-solving and follow-up roles is required.
- Relocation and mover industry experience is highly desired and valued.
While this is an 11:00am-8:00pm EST shift, we are staffed from 8:30AM until 9PM to support our customers nationwide. Overtime and some Saturday hours (9AM to 1PM) are required on a rotating basis.
