- Should have worked on large data set.
- Solid knowledge of data model, background on Data vault
- Python- well versed with libraries.
- SQL- knows how to read explain plans on Snowflake
Job Description: Need a cloud data architect who should be excellent in data modeling and cloud technologies such as Snowflake.
- Must have a minimum of 8-10 years of software development experience, with at least the last two years on cloud.
- Experience of modernization and lift and shift of an existing on-premises application to Snowflake on Azure
- Must know data modeling techniques.
- Must have very strong experience in python ,sql, azure and Snowflake
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Ability to lead teams of data engineers
- Hands-on experience of design and implementation of data warehousing solutions on cloud platforms - specifically data ingestion, integration and transformation; reporting applications; custom analytics; data migration from on-prem to cloud infrastructure; cloud storage architecture
You are responsible for designing, describing, and managing projects to meet our customers specific business initiatives. You are accountable for defining the overall technical vision of an implementation and introducing and delivering on that vision for our client.
- Provide specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered.
Attend project meetings as the technical expert, including project kickoff, project status, steering committee, and other project stage meetings
Provide overall technical leadership and lead other technical consultants in the delivery of high-quality products within committed timeframes and budgets
Work with Engagement Managers to define project tasks and milestones
Resolve technical issues and advise on best practices for data environments
Drive successful installations, configuration, performance tuning and environment optimization
Write and produce technical documentation; create and deliver technical presentations
