Transport Driver
STNA Preferred but not required
Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including buses, vans, or trucks
- Transport residents to designated locations (Doctors App. residents outing ect.)
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the vehicle
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle
- Collect fares or payments, if applicable
- Follow specific routes or schedules, as assigned
- Communicate effectively with passengers and provide excellent customer service
Skills:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload cargo as needed
- Experience in paratransit, school bus driving, limousine driving, or similar roles is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact with passengers and address their needs
- Excellent driving skills and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps to reach destinations efficiently
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
