Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
- Observe and document children's behavior, development, and progress
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the childcare facility
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
Skills:
- Classroom management: Ability to create a structured and positive learning environment
- Caregiving: Experience in providing physical and emotional care for children
- Early childhood education: Knowledge of child development principles and educational strategies for young children
- Toddler care: Understanding of the unique needs and challenges of toddlers
- Infant care: Proficiency in caring for infants, including feeding, diapering, and soothing techniques
- First aid and CPR Certified
- Preschool: Familiarity with preschool curriculum and activities
- Experience with children: Previous experience working with children in a professional or personal.
