What are the responsibilities and job description for the Postdoctoral Fellow position at Mt Kisco CBT?
Dr. Rachel Gerstein, founder of Mt Kisco CBT, is looking to hire a post-doctoral fellow for Summer or Fall 2022. Successful fellows may be offered an opportunity to continue working in the practice as a staff psychologist upon completion of their fellowship year. Located in Westchester County, NY, Mt Kisco CBT specializes in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety disorders and related conditions. The practice provides a supportive environment for its clinicians to work collaboratively, learn, and grow.
A successful candidate will have completed an APA-approved graduate program and internship, be eligible for a limited license permit, and have experience conducting individual therapy with adolescents and adults. Candidates should also have a strong training background in cognitive-behavioral and other evidence-based treatments. Based on the candidate’s interests and experience, there may also be opportunities to run treatment groups. Mt Kisco CBT is a bustling, fee-for-service practice. Weekly individual supervision will be provided. Open to full or part-time employment, competitive compensation will be offered.
