POSITION SUMMARY
Cocktail Servers are responsible for delivering excellent customer service while taking and filling the drink orders of guests in the bar
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a current Alcohol Awareness Certification
- 2 years previous experience in food or cocktail service required.
- Knowledge of popular beers, alcohol brands, and cocktails preferred
- Must be able to lift, balance, and carry cocktail trays.
- Excellent English communication and customer service skills required
- Must be able to organize and prioritize under pressure while maintaining a calm and pleasant demeanor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
o Provide excellent and efficient guest service
o Accurately record and sell food and beverage items
o Knowledge of all bar menu items, brand selections, prices, and garnishes
o Collect accurate payment from the guest and deposit the exact amount of sales
o Maintain professional uniform and appearance standards
o Use menu knowledge to maximize sales and help guests make drink selections
o Develop and maintain positive communication and teamwork with co-workers and supervisors
o Monitor the alcohol intake of guests and make reasonable effort to prevent guests from becoming intoxicated
o Maintain a clean and safe work area
MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
o Set the example by actively contributing to department and company goals.
o Clarify expectations and seek additional training as needed.
o Build quality into work. Ensure processes are consistent with quality objectives. Be aware of current quality levels versus target levels.
o Develop and achieve departmental/company goals and controls. Make suggestions for improvement in areas of cost reduction, processes, quality and productivity.
