Mt. Spokane Veterinary Hospital has an opening for an experienced veterinary assistant to add to our awesome team.  This is a full-time position, with a 4-day work week and rotating Saturdays. Our veterinary assistants are an important part of our pet care team and help provide excellent patient care and outstanding customer service to our clients. Our veterinary assistants should be ready to:

• Greet patients/clients & listen to our clients as they explain why their dog/cat/bird/rat/goat/chicken is the best one that has ever lived.
• Let your passion for pets and veterinary care shine every day.
• Perform in-house Lab work and prepare lab samples to be sent out
• Monitor of patients
• Perform pharmacy duties
• Handle medical records
