Job responsibilities: The maintenance worker is responsible for performing center maintenance and repair in electrical, carpentry, plumbing and spot painting.
Essential functions:
- Perform maintenance and repair of structures, electrical systems, heating, plumbing, air conditioning, and drainage systems.
- Repair or replace faulty or damaged light fixtures, outlets and fuses, etc. as directed
- Perform minor construction and repair of structural woodwork
- Install window shades or coverings and security locks
- Perform, repair or replacement of plumbing, fixtures, washers, seals, etc.
- Prepare surfaces for finishing, i.e. painting
Education and Experience Requirements:
- HSD/ GED and 4 years experience in various related maintenance disciplines
- Experience with youth
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required
- A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
