POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY
The Parts Buyer is responsible for purchasing contract inventory, negotiating prices, and ensuring products are delivered on-time. Primary responsibilities include:
· Forecast and purchase Bill of Material parts, operating supplies, and maintenance materials.
· Research and evaluate vendors/suppliers to ensure good supplier performance, proper item conformance.
· Maintain current vendor relationships and seek new ones.
Review and maintain good record of purchasing files to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and ensure availability of documentation when requested
The Parts Buyer reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
Actively seek to build and enhance solid working relationships with vendors and employees alike.
· Product is purchased/ordered, and for the subsequent month by the first Friday of the present month.
· Forecasts, and ensures Bill of Material Items are ordered and available to meet production needs Reduce expedite costs by 5% annually
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· 1 years industry knowledge
Previous supervisory position/experience
· Experience in conducting small group training
· Experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office Teams
· Exercise’s initiative in self-development, employee development and company growth
· Self-motivated; measures self against standards of excellence; takes calculated risks to accomplish goals
· Strong planning and organizational skills
· Reliable
· Valid Driver’s License
· High School Diploma
· Degree of relevance preferred
· Physical Bona-Fide Occupational Qualification
· Must be able to safely lift 25 pounds
· Freely maneuver thought production facility

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
