This position will need to fulfill the EA responsibilities listed below and will report directly to the EVP of the Production Operations & Technologies. This group provides operational and technical support services for Paramount’s Media Networks in all facets of production, post-production, and production technology. The EA will play a critical role in handling the day-to-day calendars, administrative tasks, travel arraignments and assigned special projects for the EVP. It will also need to provide secondary support for calendars and light administration tasks for the department SVP. Ideally, this role is for someone with a passion for learning and growing within the production environment. It will provide access to key department leaders and the department as a whole. This position is planned to have a hybrid (work from home) and in office work schedule to be finalize once a candidate is selected. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage long and short-term calendars, being prepared to make daily changes to accommodate as needed
Schedule meetings, conferences, and appointments as requested
Coordinate and format materials for presentations, including decks and research
Occasionally sit in on executive meetings to note critical points of discussion and follow-up items
Book travel and transportation for EVP and SVP as needed
Execute and process T&E reports
Take charge of the gathering, summarizing, and editorial control of department News Letter
Manage the master schedule of vacation, sick and personal time for EVP and direct reports
Maintain interest and awareness of industry & company news, growing trends, etc.
Generate and accumulate weekly notices and updates to share with EVP in a consolidated manner (NOC Outages, Critical Show Delivery report)
Participate in special projects across the department as assigned by EVP (ranging from administrative tasks to on site/set production tasks)
Conducting various research tasks in support of department initiatives
Establish and maintain relationships with key players with awareness of organizational structure Basic Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Familiar with Shared Drives (Google Drive, Office365 OneDrive), along with basic social media skills
Experience in an office setting Additional Qualifications:
Previous experience in media, production, production technologies, or the entertainment industry is preferred but not required
College degree preferred but not required
Ability to multi-task and prioritize with extreme attention to detail
Proactive, team player with a desire to learn and grow
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral skills
Possess self-initiative and ability to stay on top of gathering information from department and team leads
Willing to adapt to a hybrid work environment
