Job Description:
- First and last point of contact for all customers who have services for their pets in the Mud Room
- Ensure clients understand what services we offer, and help them get the most out of their pets visit in the Mud Room
- Manage the scheduling of appointments for the Mud Room
- Demonstrates understanding of and provides a great Mud Bay Experience in all interactions
- Able to use critical thinking to solve problems when needed
- Understands the appointment types, lengths, and how to schedule effectively
- Will use scheduling software to create, adjust, and/or cancel appointments as needed
- Able to communicate clearly in writing and over the phone
- Able to oversee appointment timeliness and provide reminders to Mud Room Technicians when needed
- Comfortable handling dogs to hand them off to the Mud Room Technicians when needed or to retrieve them from the kennel for their owner
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and understand the outcomes for Mud Room customers and the business
- Assist the Mud Room Technicians with basic Mud Room cleaning tasks which may include, but isn't limited to laundry, sweeping, and disinfecting
- Alert Mud Room Assistant Salon Manager or Lead when supplies are running low
- Collaborate with the Retail and Mud Room teams as needed

- Understands and believes that good nutrition is key to maintaining skin and coat health

- Has knowledge of dog physiology, nutrition, behavior, problems and solutions
- Is willing and able to quickly get up to speed on Mud Room practices, relevant Mud Bay practices and other material that Mud Room Muddies are expected to know
- Is organized and efficient in their work
