Quality Assurance Administrator

Mueller Refrigeration, a division of Mueller Industries (NYSE:MLI) is a global manufacturer of valves, components, and assemblies serving the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. We market a multi-product offering to the HVACR industry, backed by a dedication to customer service excellence and new product development.

Mueller Refrigeration is seeking an individual with excellent attention to detail and accuracy for the position of Quality Assurance Administrator.

The right person for this role will be detailed, focused, and able to collaborate effectively with various departments in our organization. Successful candidates will be comfortable working both as an individual contributor and as a member of the Quality Assurance team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the maintenance of all documentation, including processes, manuals, instructions, etc.
• Manage document lifecycles, including creation, approval, physical distribution, and disposal.
• Review and verify document accuracy, ensuring adherence to standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with document audits and investigations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the documentation system.
• Compile and maintain metrics on the cost of non-quality and its impact on business performance.
• Conduct inspections and audits of product and processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
• Degree or equivalent proven experience preferred. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role.
