Job Summary:
This position is within the Collateral Management Unit of the Treasury and Derivative Operations Department. The individual will be responsible for the margin process for one or more of the products support by the Collateral team. The Collateral team is responsible for calling for margin and responding to margin calls from the Banks clients. The role involves mitigating the Bank’s credit risk and providing professional customer service. The margin areas are serviced by the team include: Futures and Options, Swaps, FX and Fixed Income products.

Major Responsibilities:
- Perform Calculation of Margin Requirements across multiple Asset Classes.
- Confirmation and Verification of agreed Collateral with Counterparties.
- Process margin entries on multiple platforms.
- Resolve Mark-to-Market discrepancies on collateralized portfolios.
- Action margin transfers on behalf of Tokyo Head Office.
- Prepare various reports for daily management review.
- Maintain eligibility criteria and customer account master static data as per the terms and conditions of executed Local CSA’s in the proprietary Margin Control System.
- Assist the Team Leader on new initiatives and Projects.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to effectively time manage and prioritize responsibilities.
- Strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and in written form).
- Proficient at Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to change and work in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of Margin Process for Capital Markets or Derivative Processing.
