Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time, highly-creative graphic designer to support the growth of our brand and business. The right candidate will make a big impact on a small marketing team and will work alongside the Head of Marketing to establish, maintain, and constantly elevate the brand identity for the firm.
This is a hybrid position. The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office an average of two to three days per week with the remainder worked remotely or if based in Los Angeles, at the Intrepid main office.
Responsibilities
- Design and delivery of various marketing assets including general presentation decks, industry one-sheets, social media graphics, and event invitations
- Assist with design and layout for email marketing messages and website presence
- Work with banking teams to develop consistent, technically formatted pitch decks and custom presentations for priority meetings
- Development of new assets and design concepts as needed
- Liaise with outside branding agencies, designers, and production companies for special projects
- Work both collaboratively with marketing team and senior executives to brainstorm, iterate and incorporate feedback on projects.
- Creatively translate ideas and concepts into professional, aesthetically pleasing layouts that achieve our business objectives.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate information and data effectively and beautifully, including experience creating charts, infographics, tables, graphs and other data-visualization
- Innovative design approach and creative thinking, paired with a polished and professional sensibility
- Knowledge of both print and digital design principles and tools •Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience with basic html. Prior use of HubSpot and/or WordPress preferred.
- Ability to interpret and apply establish brand guidelines across platforms
- Understanding of both function and aesthetics of design
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- 2 years of professional experience in a design-oriented role
The typical base range for this role is between $70K- $90K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.
