Position Overview
As a Digital Asset Manager, you will play a significant role in the evolution of our digital asset management (DAM) program as we continue to grow and adapt with changing agency needs. You will be involved in every aspect of the asset lifecycle – from concepting to production to distribution to archiving. You will be handling assets created by the agency as well as those received by clients and partner agencies. Working closely with Account, Project Management, Production, Creative, Operations, and IT teams you will maintain the agency’s assets, server organization, digital asset management system, and associated workflows. Under the supervision of the Senior Digital Asset Manager, you will implement workflows designed to increase productivity amongst the client teams, using problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Manage and facilitate the uploading of assets to the agency’s server, the agency’s DAM system, and to our client’s external DAM systems.
- Assign shot numbers and appropriate metadata to promote quick and efficient searches and to ensure accurate usage rights are captured.
- Process high-volume asset ingestion in a timely manner and quality control to ensure assets meet required specifications.
- Facilitate and manage metadata input from inter-agency departments such as Product, Art Production, Print Production, etc.
- Provide support and assistance to all teams by fulfilling asset requests.
- Process raw images and video footage using the appropriate software.
- Manage the cataloging, filing, tracking, and security of hard drives.
- Train new users on the agency’s server and DAM system.
- Maintain accurate and consistent procedures, metadata standards, and records to support best practices for system improvement and communication opportunities.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; or equivalent work experience in the advertising industry.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience required; previous ad agency experience preferred.
- Software: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), knowledge of CaptureOne a plus.
- Communication: strong written and verbal communication required.
- Solid understanding of file formats, including video formats required, metadata standards, and best practices.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail required.
- Excellent time management skills, possesses an ability to prioritize a large volume of work effectively & efficiently with tight deadlines
