The role of the is Quality Coordinator is to provide technical assistance to customers and sales related to administrative / product quality issues around complaint resolution. This individual will also be actively involved in root cause identification and corrective action implementation and other projects as assigned by the Quality Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Assists Quality Manager with the responsibilities of quality management throughout the plant.
- Assists with the maintenance of electronic and hard copy quality record files for QMS. This includes, but is not exclusive to, product inspection records, audit records, corrective / preventive action records, new product and spec change forms, and SOP documents and forms.
- Submits quality MDA reports within ERP system.
- Aids production personnel in performing inspection activities as needed.
- Aids Quality Manager as needed in performing root cause analysis activities. Performs audits on effectiveness of corrective action requests (CAPAs) as needed and issues audit report.
- Consults / assists production personnel in problem solving and troubleshooting of product quality issues.
- Performs special testing as required by instructions in the factory order, press procedures, or manufacturing quality plans.
- Responds to calls when a decision on the quality of a product is needed.
- Maintains vendor tracking, rejections, COAs
- Maintains process audit tracking, and other applicable tracking as deemed necessary.
- Ensures timely, proper, and accurate closing of non-conformances (NCs).
- Leads, assists, or participates in NCR meeting.
- Coordinates internal complaint investigations to ensure prevention and reduction of process errors.
- Serves as a technical resource to Customer Service, production, and finishing operators.
- Assists in monthly reporting (internal and external) regarding quality incidents and benchmarks.
- Supports Quality Technicians in the maintenance and production of color standards and color targets.
- Supports Quality Technicians in the review and handling of customer samples.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in performing inspection activities in a production environment is required; experience in maintaining document control system is preferred.

- The physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
