Summary
The Manager of Ticket Operations will oversee day-to-day operations of the ticket office. This position will be responsible for various reporting, management of ticket sellers, and providing customer service to internal and external clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversees day-to-day operations of ticket office
- Act as system administrator for ticketing system and liaison between staff, promoters, and facility
- Build all events in the ticketing system including seating manifests, price tables, holds, discounts, pre-sale, etc.
- Oversee financial reconciliation regarding daily and monthly reporting and event settlement
- Work with union for scheduling and training of ticket office staff
- Prepare various ticketing and financial reports for leadership team
- Investigate and resolve ticket-related issues
- Work with ticket sales team on processing payments for Rochester Americans and Knighthawks
- Work with marketing and business development departments to set up various ticket discounts and promotions
- Work with finance department to ensure all ticketing reporting is accurate
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal/external customers
- Represent ticketing office in union matters
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications for the Position:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, sport management or other related field
- 2-4 years of experience in box office/ticketing preferably in a sports facility
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Knowledge of ticketing software and terminology
- Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
