MultiTech is currently seeking a Regional Sales Professional for our Southeast Region (Texas to Florida). As a Regional Sales Professional, you are a true hunter that is driven by winning new business and continuing to grow your customer portfolio. You will be excited about a solution sell that helps customers to resolve complex software issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, manage and grow IoT business in assigned territory
- Prospect and call on assigned region meeting with prospects, customers, channel partners, carriers etc.
- Keep all customers, prospects and channels aware of new product development
- Tailor the value proposition of each product/solution to the assigned accounts to show value in helping customers meet the objectives in their industry
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must live in one of the territory states! This includes Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisianna, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia or Florida)
- 4 year degree in Engineering or in related field and/or 5-7 years equivalent sales experience in M2M/IoT industry
- Demonstrated experience in direct sales with a successful track record in meeting quota; including working through channel and/or distribution partners
- Demonstrated experience in setting account strategy and direction in a high technical environment
- Strong effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; Possess strong presentation skills
- Service and results oriented with a strong desire to support customers
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and track many activities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work well with others and independently
- Ability to travel 50% of the time to customers, partners, and trade shows/conferences to build relationship, network, and to promote the services and/or products of MultiTech
