Position Summary:

Multilink, an industry leader in telecommunications equipment, is seeking an Accountant to join our growing team! The accountant performs a variety of accounting tasks, including sales tax filing, account reconciliations, month end close and financial reporting. This position requires a strong knowledge of general accounting principles.

Essential Job Functions:

• Sales/use tax filing and compliance for multiple states
• Month end close including preparing and posting journal entries
• Review monthly financial statements and variance analysis
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and review
• Record bank transactions in accounting software and reconcile to bank account
• Reconcile and record credit card activity
• Review and maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules
• Annual budget process
• Participate in preparation for annual audit
• Responsible for company vehicle registration and record keeping
• Maintain records and ensure Department of Transportation compliance

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Proven experience in a general accounting role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel
• Detail oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 3 years accounting experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods
• Ability to move in an office environment
• Ability to move in a manufacturing environment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $55,000.00 per year
