Munich Re America Services (MRAS) is a shared service organization that delivers services to all Munich Re US P&C Companies and other group entities.
The Graphic Designer is a key member of our Marketing team that facilitates the development of marketing and communications projects and campaigns via the use of artistry, strategy, creativity and technical ability - upholding the visual expression of the brand and ultimately meeting business objectives.

The Graphic Designer is a key member of our Marketing team that facilitates the development of marketing and communications projects and campaigns via the use of artistry, strategy, creativity and technical ability - upholding the visual expression of the brand and ultimately meeting business objectives.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for the design and production of marketing and communications materials (print and digital), adhering to company branding standards and keeping a consistent image in the marketplace.
- Consults with strategic, business and sales team to understand marketing objectives, presenting concepts and final creative that deliver on established objectives.
- Coordinates production of marketing and communications materials with local vendors, Docucenter, digital team, outside agencies, and freelancers as needed.
- Serves as the brand steward from a visual expression perspective, ensuring all communications meet brand standards and guidelines for design and photography.
- Contributes fresh new ideas through brainstorming and collaboration, stays abreast of design trends and best practices, and serves as the design consultant for the Creative Services team.
- Supports global brand and design team on select projects, collaborates and shares best practices to create global synergies, and becomes familiar with group brand standards and guidelines for multiple Munich Re companies.
- Offers design direction and creative rationale as required by project.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, required
- A minimum of 1 years of graphic design experience
- Strong ability to concept and lead projects from a design and strategic perspective
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Print Ready Production
- HTML skills for web and email
- Digital image optimization skills
- Video storyboarding, production, editing and motion graphics
- Illustration and photography
- Email design and development (Marketing a plus)
