Munn Lumber, a Mead Lumber Company, is a leading provider of building products to professional contractors, and remodelers. We have 54 locations across 9 Midwestern states. As a Sales Support Associate you will be responsible for various sales duties, but the main role is to support our Outside Sales Representatives selling hardware, building materials, and lumber to customers.

Responsibilities of Sales Support:

Develop a working knowledge of company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy.
Process receiving documents and match up invoices for payments in a timely and accurate manner.
Answer telephone professionally and pleasantly.
Listen to and assist customers.
Assist with delivery of merchandise, if needed.

Qualifications & Requirements of Sales Associate:

High School diploma or GED required.
Previous commercial construction or sales experience preferred
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Physical ability to lift and carry 80 pounds.
Desire to learn and grow professionally.
Ability to form strong relationships with customers.
Ability to react quickly to problems and respond to them accurately and professionally.
Ability to operate office equipment.
Friendly outgoing personality that enjoys working with people.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Strong verbal skills.
