ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree required; Masters preferred. Alternatively, Associate Degree with not less than 5 years of leadership experience.
A minimum of one year prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role required.
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) and/or Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) through the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM), knowledgeable in both the respiratory and neurological aspects of sleep disorders or registered nurse with demonstrated experience in sleep disorders, preferred.
ORGANIZATION
Collaborates with Practice Administrator and works closely with the Sleep Disorders Center Medical Director. Communicates regularly with physicians, advanced practice providers, staff, MHC partners and referral sources.
The Manager of Sleep Disorder Center and Clinic reports to the Practice Administrator.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Collaborates with the Practice Administrator and Medical Director to implement programmatic, organizational and strategic direction. Performs annual program assessment, provides improvement recommendations for consideration by the Sleep Medicine Section of the MHC Medical Staff and the MHC Administrator.
Hires, supervises, schedules and administers disciplinary actions. Maintains all personnel attendance and competency records.
Develops and oversees yearly budget and goals.
Ensures all mandatory requirements are met according to department and hospital policy. Maintains AASM accreditation and standards of practice.
Monitors quality management and improvement initiates; coordinates with other entities of Munson Healthcare as necessary to maintain all relevant patient care quality metrics.
Maintains positive and effective relationships with physicians, SDC staff, and MHC staff who interface with the SDC program.
Conducts effective, routine staff meetings, ensures appropriate level of employee engagement.
Maintains effective, accurate, and useful SDC policies and procedures.
Ensures that necessary facilities and equipment exist; ensures such facilities and equipment function as intended.
Attends required meetings and management programs.
Achieves and maintains professional memberships, e.g., Association of Polysomnographic Technologists (APT).
Positively represents Munson Healthcare and Munson Sleep Disorder Center and Clinic in the community.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
