What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Reception position at Murdock Auto Team?
Murdock Auto Team is looking for a Service Receptionist in our Parts and Service Department.
Hours are Full Time- Pay range starting at $15 per hour based on experience
Position summary:
Represent the Murdock Auto Team brand in Business Development to help customers feel like family when they walk through our doors.
Tasks:
· Communicates with the BDC Manager and other dealership managers to enthusiastically engage with guests when they are setting over the phone appointments.
· Organize a daily/weekly strategy to align with Murdock Auto Team's Parts Departments on contacted and scheduled appointments for received Special order parts.
· Review Recall History with customer when setting appointments, to provide an estimated wait time for maintenance and services.
· Communicating with BDC Managers on contacting customers for retention, making sure reminders for upcoming services are sent out.
· Follow up with missed appointments to reschedule.
· Enhances Murdock Auto Team's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different tasks as defined by Murdock Auto Team Management.
Skills:
Basic operations of all vehicle types, basic computer and phone skills, customer service, teamwork, communication with managers.
Experience And Education: Must be able to work as a team member in a fast-paced environment with computers and communication software on computers. Must be a minimum of 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States with current driver's license and good driver record.
Must be able to read and comprehend employee handbooks and other automotive materials. Ability to learn quickly and take directions from dealership leaders.
Experience in basic customer service skills preferred.
Multi-language proficiency with English and Spanish preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk; sit; use hands, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Work in a office setting.
