Job Description:
Answer phones, receive and transmit telephone and other messages, perform a variety of administrative tasks, and present a professional image of the firm to callers and visitors.
Essential Functions:
- Answer telephones. Receive and transmit telephone messages accurately and promptly.
- Greet and escort clients and visitors when they arrive in the office in professional and friendly manner.
- Schedule client appointments.
- Scan, file, and perform data input of client source documents.
- Print and assemble reports and tax returns for delivery to clients.
- Proofread reports and correspondence.
- Complete basic accounting tasks for multiple clients utilizing client records.
- Perform general office duties.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to serve multiple clients, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Computer proficiency including knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, and QuickBooks.
- Client oriented focus with the ability to identify and prioritize client needs in a professional manner.
This is a part time position requiring twenty to thirty hours per week. Hours are flexible.
