Production Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY: Supervise a production department to assure all manufactured products satisfy customer quality requirements and delivery as well as internal cost requirements through best practice methods.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Management of production and support functions to assure 100% product integrity, service and delivery performance. Drive metrics surrounding safety, quality, delivery, inventory and cost.
• Ensure department associates are trained as necessary including safety, machine operations, part inspection/operation of quality equipment/gages and the developments of constantly improved manufacturing techniques. Record and maintain training.
• Provide daily direction (through interface with Production Scheduling, Sales, and Quality) to associates regarding requirements and goals.
• Coordinate with Quality to assure conformity of product to customer requirements. Request necessary gages/measuring tools to provide product to print.
• Responsible for the behavior and actions of all direct and indirect subordinates and any necessary disciplinary actions required as they pertain to Company policies and procedures.
• Monitor run efficiency reports per part and OEE. Analyze the data and take appropriate actions to attain a minimum 100% efficiency rating,
• Champion cost reductions through team efforts and programs.
• Pursue on-going goal of cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area using 5S standards.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and protocols, environmental guidelines, as well as company rules and policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience: One to three years supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Two year technical associates degree

Experience: Three to five years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
