The Musco Finance Team is currently seeking a Credit Analyst to work from our Oskaloosa office. This position will focus on being responsible for evaluating the credit worthiness of customers prior to sale. And ensure processes are followed to collect payment for accounts past due based upon original terms of sale. What you will do as a Credit Analyst:

• Evaluate credit references and credit inquiry results to determine credit worthiness and provide credit approval before project is shipped.
• Work collaboratively with the legal department to review contracts and establish payment terms for customers.
• Contact customers to collect past due accounts receivable and negotiate payment terms with customers if necessary.
• Proactively work with sales team and customers to improve DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and communicate contract terms for the customer.
• Collect tax exemption paperwork for all exempt jobs.
• File legal notices as needed
• Other duties as assigned

What you need to be successful:

• Minimum two-year degree in business or equivalent related experience
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
• Pro-active approach to problem-solving
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong interpersonal skills

Other special requirements:

Occasional work outside of traditional hours as needed
