The Musco Transportation & Infrastructure Team is seeking a Project Manager to work from our Oskaloosa, Iowa campus. In this role you will manage onsite projects regarding contracts, shipping details, technical questions, and installation requirements; effectively communicate all project-related information to our customers and internal project Team; and travel to sites to ensure installations are efficient and be an ongoing resource to the owner, contractor, engineer, and internal Team.

What you will do as a Project Manager
Our Transportation and Infrastructure Team applies Musco's same proven lighting system to non-sports projects like railroads, airports, ports, architecture, and monuments.
- Work collaboratively with Sales Representatives to review construction services projects and setup service reviews
- Identify and verify project details to be included in the scope of work
- Develop the scope of work and create a request for quote (RFQ) for subcontractors. Work with Sales Representative on pricing when needed
- Follow up on presale construction service projects that are projected to ship within 1 year
- Attend preconstruction meetings with customers, sales, and contractors to ensure accurate information on installation, and coordinate project details, installation, and delivery arrangements with Sales and Engineering
- Provide onsite training with customers or contractors to ensure that Musco products are installed correctly
- Field technical questions from Sales Representatives, contractors, and customers while be an ongoing resource
- Identify, communicate, and implement change orders, track installation, and approve invoices
- Communicate details to the Credit Department on progress billings
- Secure signed contract with Musco subcontractors
What you need to be successful
- Minimum associate degree in a technical or business-related field or 3 years experience in a related field
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with great interpersonal skills
- Aptitude to interpret and understand project specifications, construction, and electrical drawings
- AutoCAD knowledge is preferred
- Prioritize multiple projects and tasks
- Willingness to learn and apply the product knowledge
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, while working with a Team to achieve goals
- Ability to travel 60%-70%, including overnight travel
