What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator, Human Resources position at Musician's Friend, Inc.?
This position's primary function is to assist the Human Resources department with daily activities and on occasion be involved with special projects as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Unemployment claims administration: track and respond to unemployment claims, including pulling personnel files to obtain the information required to correctly respond to these requests.
- Background check process administration: order and enter all background information into system. Track status and notify managers of status/results,
- Legal Compliance: order/distribute all state and federal
- Subpoena and employment verification
- Manage the vendor relationship for the UI program and Background Check
- Receive calls on the HR Group Line
- Order department office supplies
- Department mail distribution
- Additional duties as assigned, such as supporting HR department special

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & SPECIAL ATTRIBUTES
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably within human resources

Pay Rate: $23.00- $27.10 / hourly annually depending on background and experience.
