Role Summary:
Generate and review plan documents, including SPDs, using the Relius Document System. Responsible for the quality and accuracy of group insurance and group annuity contracts/policies and certificates issued by the department. This includes reviewing group annuity contracts and certificates to ensure adherence to state filed forms, and to ensure the accuracy of employer, plan provision and participant data; and approving these documents for issuance. Responds to requests from Regional Offices by preparing and providing duplicate or specimen copies of previously issued contracts and/or certificates. Provide guidance, direction and alternatives to personnel in Marketing and other divisions to aid in meeting the objectives of clients and prospects. Provide support to Field Office personnel with respect to general plan administration.
Responsibilities:
- Generate plan documents, including SPDs, from the Relius Document system
- Review weekly contract and certificate production
- Prepare, import, and index documents into the OnBase imaging system
- Respond to Regional and Home Office questions regarding plan administration
- Prepares contract and certificate copies and/or specimen copies upon request
- Request and review files from offsite storage upon request
- Prepare and deliver copies of plan documentation to other departments upon request
- Other projects as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Detail oriented, with the ability to adapt to a changing environment and manage large volumes of work
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to manage time, prioritize projects and work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the retirement services industry
- Experience working with Relius Document and Exchange systems or familiarity with other plan document systems
- Accreditations from LOMA or other industry related training programs
