Moore & Van Allen PLLC is a prominent business and litigation law firm of more than 350 lawyers with offices in the Carolinas. This full-time position is located in our Charlotte, NC office. This position supports both attorney and staff recruiting.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating legal recruiting activities involved in attracting and recruiting highly talented Staff, Associates, Counsel, Of-Counsel, and Members to the firm.
- Performing administrative tasks in support of the organization's recruiting function.
- Collecting and reviewing internal job descriptions, and posting job openings to job boards or corporate career sites.
- Reviewing resumes, conducting initial phone screens.
- Scheduling in-office interviews for candidates and coordinating travel arrangements or reimbursement of travel expenses.
- Prepares candidate letters for review regarding offers, declinations, and other correspondence.
- Processes and maintains recruiting reports and statistics.
- Coordinates with outside staffing agencies to secure temporary employees, based on departmental needs.
- Processing background checks and resolving background check discrepancies.
- Regular and in-person attendance is required to perform essential functions of this interactive position.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- This role operates in a standard office environment.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 1 years of previous experience in Human Resources or Recruiting required
- Must have a high proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) with the ability to learn other specialized software
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal, and organizational skills
