This role can be based 100% remotely.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- The Director of CoRe Business Program Management will oversee fraud risk management efforts of MVB Bank’s CoRe Banking Portfolio. This position includes developing, managing, and executing Fraud and Identity Risk Management policies, processes, and strategies for the CoRe Banking Portfolio. The incumbent will work collaboratively with Retail and Commercial Banking partners to ensure effective fraud risk management objectives are met. Additionally, the Director of CoRe Business Program Management will work with vendors to manage and evaluate existing and prospective fraud risk and identity solutions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Partner with internal senior leaders on fraud and identity risk management requirements for existing and future products in the Commercial and Retail banking portfolio
- Support a Fraud Program that aids in understanding risk, mitigates losses, and supports growth for the bank
- Collaborate with internal teams including BSA, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Technology
- Partner with vendors for solution management, expansion, and integrations
- Design, document, and implement fraud policies, strategies, authentication procedures, and controls to aid in the identification, detection, and mitigation of fraud risk
- Define and manage to KPIs and performance reporting to monitor and measure progress toward KPIs and fraud risk management success
- Assess existing processes and provide business improvement and optimization recommendations
- Support efforts related to audits, regulatory examinations, and testing
- Actively share fraud risks, trends, and changes with internal stakeholders and front-line staff
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate would possess:
- 3 years of mid-senior level fraud risk management experience in financial services inclusive of retail banking
- 3 years of experience working in fraud risk management
- 2 years of experience managing product vendors
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and assessing a Fraud Program
- Fraud experience must include combination of Lending, Retail, and Commercial Banking
- Knowledgeable of banking regulations impacting lending and retail banking
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
