JOB SUMMARY
Oversee the end-to-end process of Tooling & Die creation, utilizing manually controlled machine tools, power tools, and hand tools. The incumbent contributes to team success by achieving results with accuracy and timeliness while ensuring compliance with customer-specific requirements.

Tool Room Supervisor
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Develop precision tools and dies for cold heading machinery, crafting them according to blueprints received from both customers and engineering specifications.
- Employ a diverse range of machinery and tools, including lathes, mills, rotary tools, die grinders, honing stones, and files, to ensure the accurate and efficient production of high-quality tools and dies.
- Collaborate closely with the production team, providing expertise and addressing any concerns related to the tools created, fostering a seamless integration of tooling processes within the overall production workflow.
- Take charge of the maintenance and repair of tooling and dies for machinery, managing the ticket flow from operators to promptly address issues and uphold continuous operational efficiency.
SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Possess a minimum of two years of hands-on experience as a skilled tool maker or machinist, demonstrating expertise in working with and repairing carbide materials.
- Showcase a proven track record of effectively interpreting and implementing engineering drawings and prints, highlighting a strong ability to translate technical specifications into precise and accurate tooling and/or dies.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to independently, safely, and repetitively lift up to 50lbs.
