Material Handler/Receiving Clerk - Part-Time

MWI is looking to add to its world class team of highly trained and skilled personnel. We provide carbon and graphite solutions for Aerospace, EDM, Fuel cell and Semiconductor markets. MWI has earned a reputation for leading the industry in precision manufacturing.

Material Handling

• Receive, process, and deliver all incoming shipments as per Purchase Orders.
• Identify and supply materials as needed throughout production facility.
• Return offcut material to inventory and identify reusability.
• Pull Recuts for production and deliver as required.
• Receive and process RMA’s.
• Identify and resolve incoming material discrepancies.
• Organize and file all incoming paperwork and deliver to appropriate department.
• Keep graphite yard organized and rotated based on production needs.
• Operate Wisconsin oven (set profiles, bake times, fixtures)- training provided.

Inventory Control

• Identify and store materials as per production/space needs.
• Cycle count inventory
• Maintain customer supplied inventory.
• Rotate graphite inventory based on production needs and usage.
• Assist with year-end physical inventory; locate Raw, finished and WIP inventory.
• Audit material department on a monthly basis – 5S
• Assist with Tool Crib inventory and replenishment.

Additional Responsibilities

• Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Shipping and Saw department for material needs and matters.
• Work closely with purchasing/finance department on receiving material issues and resolution.
• Daily forklift inspection and filing of checklists.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness.
• Represent Materials department on Safety Committee
• End of shift cleaning/organization of materials and staging area.
• Attend MWI University/Training as needed/required.
• Complete Special projects/tasks as needed/requested.

Compensation
Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to the candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00 per hour.
