Facilities Maintenance Technician

Provide support services to ensure maintenance of the manufacturing facilities as well as plant equipment and assist with the testing process including but not limited to heavy industrial lifting.

Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

· General facilities maintenance and repair of manufacturing machinery and equipment.

· All test tank duties are required by mgmt

· Maintenance and repair of manufacturing machinery and equipment.

· Performs all phases of plant maintenance and assist with special projects.

· Service and repair of vehicles and machinery including but not limited to forklift.

· Attend biweekly “Toolbox Talks”.

· Adhere to all safety rules.

· Exhibit good working habits at all times

· And other related duties as assigned by management or as develop due to business necessity and growth.

Must have:

· Good, carpentry, plumbing, drywall, and general maintenance skills

· Ability to perform maintenance on and repair of common manufacturing machinery such as forklifts.

· Excellent trouble shooting skills

· Good mechanical skills

· Practical math skills

· Clean driving history

· Strong industrial safe work practices

· Be hands on, assertive and self starter

· Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English

· Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment in order to meet production deadlines

Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, sit, feel, twist, walk, talk, hear, see, drive, bend, drive, crouch, grasp, squeeze, crawl, kneel, squat, push, pull, apply pressure, reach overhead. Ability to be suspended in air with harness if required. Ability to focus for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs regularly if required, steady hands in order to obtain and meet required quality. Must be able to safely operate all required machinery. Ability to work outdoors subject to local weather conditions. Must not be afraid of heights.

Working Conditions: Traditional non air-conditioned heavy mechanical/industrial environment. Extended hours and weekend work is frequently required with little to no notice in order to meet business needs.

Travel Requirements: May be required – less than 20%
