What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at MWIDM Inc.?
Contractor will manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
- Must be capable of coordinating and influencing a wide range of functional organizational leads and subject matter experts across the lifecycle process to accomplish the goals and objectives of the organization
- Must be goal oriented, action-focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined
- Ensure the cohesive workflow of a work orders from initiation to closeout through work order analysis in Primavera (PV), managing WO holds, facilitating reconciliation and providing oversight in T-0.
- Manage all distribution work in the schedule at T-5 from the hand-off of the Long-Range Planner through execution week (T-0).
- Efficiently facilitate the release of all holds within T5 Lockdown to ensure the progression of work order tasks in the target weeks.
- Develop an executable T0 schedule that supported the following goals of Distribution: Schedule Adherence, and Schedule Stability.
- Familiarity with electric utilities equipment and processes

- Plans, directs, and ensures the successful management of assigned project portfolio
- Maintains communication with upper management both within and across organizations to ensure smooth running of all assigned projects
- Responsible for all project management activities for assigned portfolio throughout the project life cycle (planning, detailed design, construction, close out)
- Managing/facilitating team deliverables delivery (conception design, siting studies, constructability walkdown, design package, contractor contracts, etc)
- Proactively identify risk and mitigation plans, monitor project status, recognize negative trends and coordinates corrective action
- Responsible for the management of project contracts including bid process (working with the Contract Management team), identify upcoming contract obligations, develop dispute resolution options and assist in contract final closure
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 4 years of project management experience or Master's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of project management experience or a minimum of 8 years of specific related experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
