Full Job Description
Looking for a responsible and compassionate LPN to join our team at ACE in Lithonia, GA. Hours are flexible based on your scheduling needs. Safe in-home environment and PPE provided.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a high level of compassionate interpersonal and communication skills necessary to consistently serve patients and family members in a professional manner.
- One to one patient care in a home environment
- Assess patients for stability and follow through with all doctor’s orders.
- Verify medication milligrams, last day dosed, takeout received, phase level, and verify guest doses.
- Be thorough and accurate in the documentation of patient complaints, vital signs, current medication, and allergies.
- Some health promotion, teaching, and training of family members is necessary
- Other duties may be assigned.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and graduate of accredited program; prefer licensed or certified professionals but willing to consider others with adequate experience
Qualifications Of The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Must have a good standing license (LPN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
- Must have at least 12 months of hands-on nursing experience
- Current CPR certification
- Must be willing to provide in-home nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents
- Very comfortable and efficient in the use of EMRs and use of computers
- Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
