Responsibilities

1. Food Preparation: Prepare and assemble menu items according to restaurant standards and customer preferences.
2. Customer Service: Greet customers warmly as they approach the serving line, provide menu recommendations, and assist with any inquiries or special requests.
3. Order Accuracy: Ensure orders are accurately taken and entered into the system, paying attention to specific dietary needs or modifications.
4. Efficient Service: Work quickly and efficiently to maintain a smooth flow of service during peak hours, minimizing wait times for customers.
5. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the serving area clean and organized at all times, including replenishing utensils, napkins, and condiments as needed.
6. Cash Handling: Process customer payments accurately using cash registers or POS systems, and issue receipts as necessary.
7. Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
8. Adherence to Health and Safety Standards: Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
9. Upselling and Promotion: Promote additional menu items or specials to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
10. Customer Satisfaction: Monitor customer feedback and address any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed guest expectations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry or fast casual dining environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating order totals.
• Knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine and ingredients is a plus.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
