Accounting Department

As the leader of the accounting team, you will be responsible for closely monitoring a company's financial health. Maintaining, managing, and analyzing financial statements, payroll, budgets, tax compliance issues, and reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Management oversight of accounting team.
• Accurately prepares all internal and external financial reporting to include, but not limited to financial statements, analysis, projections, periodic budgets, and forecasts, understands compliance, tax, and consolidated budgets.
• Maintains the Company's program of internal compliance by monitoring existing internal controls and policies to ensure conformance and compliance with GAAP and updates policies when needed.
• Assists with Branch P&L reporting
• Supports warehouse bank management
• Responsible for working with Sales Management and Payroll on sales commission

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• CPA
• 2 years of mortgage accounting experience preferred
• Experience with a mortgage software program (Loan Vision)
• 2 years of people management experience
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload to produce desired results
• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet or exceed deadlines with accuracy

Preferred Skills

• MBA or master’s degree in accounting
• 5 years of mortgage accounting experience preferred
• 5 years of people management experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $61,806.00 - $100,000.00 per year
