As the leader of the accounting team, you will be responsible for closely monitoring a company's financial health. Maintaining, managing, and analyzing financial statements, payroll, budgets, tax compliance issues, and reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Management oversight of accounting team.
- Accurately prepares all internal and external financial reporting to include, but not limited to financial statements, analysis, projections, periodic budgets, and forecasts, understands compliance, tax, and consolidated budgets.
- Maintains the Company's program of internal compliance by monitoring existing internal controls and policies to ensure conformance and compliance with GAAP and updates policies when needed.
- Assists with Branch P&L reporting
- Supports warehouse bank management
- Responsible for working with Sales Management and Payroll on sales commission
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA
- 2 years of mortgage accounting experience preferred
- Experience with a mortgage software program (Loan Vision)
- 2 years of people management experience
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload to produce desired results
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet or exceed deadlines with accuracy
Preferred Skills
- MBA or master’s degree in accounting
- 5 years of mortgage accounting experience preferred
- 5 years of people management experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $61,806.00 - $100,000.00 per year
