As a Reservations Agent at My Perfect Stays, you will be the initial point of contact for guests, responsible for ensuring their vacation experience is exceptional. The role requires strong organizational skills and a genuine commitment to the company culture, characterized by joy, willingness, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Reservation Processing: Receive and process reservation requests via phone, email, or online platforms. Input reservation details accurately into our property management system. Verify customer information and ensure all necessary details are captured.
- Customer Service: Assist customers in selecting suitable accommodations and address customer inquiries regarding reservations, policies, pricing, and availability. Resolve any issues or complaints related to bookings promptly and professionally.
- Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth execution of reservations. Liaise with other service providers to confirm bookings and secure necessary details. Communicate reservation changes or special requests effectively to all relevant parties.
- Record-Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and modifications. Generate reports on reservations to assist the department manager on identifying trends and performance metrics as required.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and remain flexible in this ever changing industry. Uphold confidentiality standards when handling sensitive customer information.
- Upselling and Promotion: Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or amenities to customers. Promote special offers, packages, or discounts to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
Requirements:
- Available weekends and be able to work from our West Maui location in addition to Kihei.
- Candidates must exude joyfulness, willingness to go above and beyond, and have a desire to get better!
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Proven experience as a reservations specialist or similar role in the hospitality.
- Proficiency in reservation software and computer systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong customer service orientation with problem-solving abilities.
