Manager, Revenue Cycle Billing & Cash
About the role
The Manager of Revenue Cycle, Billing and Cash oversees the full cycle of revenue management functions and responsibilities of billing and cash. The role requires superior knowledge of medical and vision insurance billing and accounting. This position oversees the Billing and Cash team and reports to the Chief Revenue Cycle Officer.
This is a hybrid role with a flexible work arrangement out of our Vienna, VA or Raleigh, NC offices.
You Will
- Direct daily and monthly processes in Revenue Cycle teams to ensure success of quarterly strategic goals
- Drive processes and staff to optimize financial results
- Optimize revenue cycle processes and workflows for scalability and efficiency
- Develop team leads members for growth and leadership
- Audit insurance payers for optimal reimbursements
- Create comprehensive and consistent department monthly reports
- Close auditing of financial reports to swiftly identify issues or opportunities for improvement
- Review and strategize monthly team goals set by team leads
- Ensure external/acquisition AR support is provided in a timely and efficient manner
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 5 years of management experience
- 3 years of Revenue Cycle experience
- Experience in an optometry field preferred
- Accounting experience preferred
