Job Summary :

Kelly Services is looking for a Production Line Operator for a food and beverage company in Preston, WA.

Job Specifications :

• Shift : 2nd shift Shift (2 : 00pm-12 : 30pm Monday to Thursday)

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Safely operate production packaging equipment, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and troubleshooting basic issues as necessary.
• Perform periodic quality checks to ensure product quality.
• Conduct package changeovers efficiently.
• Down stack pallets of product in a safe manner.
• Ensure the accuracy of raw materials usage and availability to prevent downtime.
• Complete all quality and operational paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Track and record pallet numbers correctly on the QA inspection sheet.
• Inspect packages continuously for quality and report any issues.
• Ensure safety guards are in place before starting equipment and escalate any critical issues to Leads and Shift Supervisor.
• Collaborate with other teams in the plant, including warehouse, production, QA team, and maintenance.
• Adhere to food safety, quality, and SQF practices at all times and report any issues to the immediate supervisor.
• Complete assigned responsibilities as required.

Qualifications & Skills :

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience, preferably in the food production industry.
• Fluent in English with the ability to read instructions carefully.
• Willingness to accommodate overtime, work other shifts, and weekends occasionally.
• Ability to stand for approximately 95% of the time.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
