Pay Rate : Rotating shifts every 4 weeks.

Starting at $18.00 per hour for day shift, 6an to 6 : 15pm.

What’s a typical day as a Production Operator? You’ll be :

• Performing a wide range of tasks based on the current season, including inspecting and maintaining seed crops, supporting seed inventory management, harvesting, seed packaging, cleaning and packaging seed, supporting maintenance work, warehousing, and shipping seed
• Receiving and processing trucks hauling crop from the field
• Supplying the Conditioning department with a constant supply of seed
• Applying appropriate treatment to seed
• Labeling, tagging, bagging, and palletizing seed
• Entering inventory information into the computer
• Staging seed for shipment in the warehouse
• Retagging in-house seed and re-bagging returned seed
• Inspecting and washing pro boxes to ensure cleanliness

This job might be an outstanding fit if you :

• Have knowledge of production agriculture and production plant operations
• Can safely perform duties in a timely fashion while maintaining seed quality
• Are able to work independently or with a team
• Can adjust to changing conditions and anticipate needs
• Have the ability to make independent decisions
• Have reliable transportation to the site and can arrive as instructed
• Are able to work long hours and rotational shifts, including overtime as needed
• Can lift, push, pull up to 60 pounds, work indoors and outdoors, and walk on uneven surfaces
