Salary / Pay Rate / Compensation : $16.00 / hr

Monday -Thursday 7am-5pm.

Friday 7am 3pm.

What’s a typical day as a Waste Area Worker? You’ll be :

• Supporting the Waste Management Area under the direction of an Operator II or Supervisor
• Handling boxes, jugs, and other materials associated with manufacturing operations
• Ensuring compliance with site conduct, safety, security, and environmental protection rules
• Adhering to quality and productivity standards
• Performing various duties in support of formulation and packaging operations, including handling containers of materials, pallets, trash, and other non-hazardous waste products
• Operating a forklift to move materials
• Operating various equipment in the process of handling waste processes
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards
• Regularly lifting and handling materials

This job might be an outstanding fit if you :

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Are willing to work evening shifts and weekends if necessary
• Adhere to high safety and quality standards
• Have demonstrated ability to understand and carry out instructions and training received
• Have demonstrated ability to comprehend basic arithmetic functions
• Have the ability to lift at a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Have steel toe shoes
