We are assisting our client to hire a compassionate and caring Physical Therapist to fill a12-week travel assignment working Home Health. This position covers Perry & Spencer counties in Tell City, Indiana, located in southern Indiana near the Kentucky border, on the Ohio River. Interested therapists must hold a current license/registration in PT for Indiana and be a graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy. This Home Health job is working a standard, 40-hour work week, 8a 4:30p treating an average of 4-6 patients a day and pays between $57 - $62 / hour.*
Responsibilities of the Home Health Physical Therapist
Evaluate and assess your patients to establish functional, measurable goals that promote restoration of functional abilities.
Realize your own potential to achieve your goals and overall excellence.
Advise and consult with the family and/or other caregivers as indicated to promote the client's level of progress toward mutually agreed upon goals and plan for discharge.
Participate in educating the client and the family or other caregivers to promote the client's progress toward mutually agreed upon goals.
Requirements
Covid Vaccinated
Minimum Experience: 1 year as PT, preferably home care experience
Charting Experience Required: Brightree
AHA BLS active at submission - Required
Indiana State PT License
Degree from PT Accredited College
Compensation
Salary: $57 - 62 / hour Based on experience, benefit level and traveler status.*
