Essential Functions
- Manage multiple Superintendents and projects
- Responsible for training and development of Superintendents, Foreman and General Foreman
- Build and maintain relationships with the customer, inspectors and other trades
- Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and the general contractor to identify and resolve any conflicts
- Work closely with Superintendents and project teams to ensure all installations meet quality and electrical code standards
- Manage material and personnel requirements necessary to meet the project schedule and provides best course of action for construction methods
- Ensure all on-site personnel comply with project procedures as well as safety program requirements and construction practices
- May hold daily, weekly and/or monthly safety meetings
- Document all violations, provide appropriate notification and recommend and/or implement correction actions as required
- Responsible for efficient use of materials and equipment
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Other duties as assigned
- Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location
- Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 20 years of experience in the electrical trades, Journeyman Electrician level or higher is required
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a lead role within the electrical field required
- Must have experience in all aspects of low voltage to medium voltage commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.
- Experience working with union trades and contacts
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to manage multiple project teams
- Strong understanding of electrical installations standards and codes as well as construction practices used for electrical construction
- Proficient in the development and implementation of company and contract procedures to include safety, compliance, and documentation of a project
- Certified in CPR, First Aid, OSHA 10
- Thorough knowledge of reading and interpreting plans, specifications and contract documents
- Proficiency with MS Project and MS Suite such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to travel as needed
- Strong work ethic, good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
