Job Responsibilities:
Required Skills:
- Coordinate international freight shipments globally
- Manage all operations processes including pricing, verifying documentation, communicating with customers/global agents/carriers, tracking and tracing, updating systems, coordinating with customs brokers and service providers for optimum shipment management from cradle to coffin.
- Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and to create solutions in response to challenges both internally and externally
- Facilitating relationships and collaborating with internal and external customers and vendors for gold star customer service and creative problem resolution
- Understand and comply with U.S. and foreign regulations
- Self- starter with excellent communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent follow up skills and attention to detail
- Critical-thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of Transportation/Logistics with Global Forwarding experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- High school degree or GED equivalent
- Bachelor's degree
