Mystic Valley Regional Charter School in Malden, MA was founded in 1998. The School serves over 1,400 students in Kindergarten through Grade 12.

Job Description:
The Director of Youth Services is responsible for the management of seasonal activities for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, including the High School community service program, the Student Action Service Club (SAC) and Learn to Swim (LTS) programs, and the Kinder Workshops.
Responsibilities:
Manage Community Service Program for students 7-12th grade.
Hold quarterly community service assemblies to connect with students
Maintain student files by uploading community service hours
Oversee student community service compacts and distribute compacts and updated hour counts in report card cycles
Ensure students fulfill requirements
Coordinate with Dean of Students and Assistant Director to monitor student service month-to-month and approve project proposals
Make students aware of community service opportunities in the community and within the school
Send certification letters for community service hour completion at the end of the year
Manage and track financial invoices for student athletics in fall, winter, and spring
Student Action Club (SAC)/Learn to Swim (LTS)
Advertise sign-ups and track applications/acceptances
Build schedule by connecting with Assistant Director
Train High School students to help with program
Develop and implement Kinder workshop twice in the academic year
Requirements:
Possession of BA/BS from an accredited college or university.
At least one years’ experience in an educational setting and/or thorough institutional knowledge of Mystic Valley Regional Charter School.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to perform duties with awareness of all school requirements, state and federal laws, and MVRCS policies.
Strong collaborative, teaching, coaching, and leadership skills to support student programming and work in a team setting.
