What are the responsibilities and job description for the First Assistant Director position at MyWoosah?
We are looking for a competent First Assistant Director to support the Marketing Director on set of a 2 week production. You will be working to assist with the responsibilities listed below for productivity support. First Assistant Directors are well-versed in operations management and competent in assuming delegated duties. They are leaders and critical thinkers, ready to solve problems before they become obstacles. The goal is to help the department attain a productive set during filming/shoot.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and set up equipment
- Plan, prepare and rehearse scenes
- Collaborate with the team to create shot list and follow camera scripts
- Creatively frame and capture action
- Respond quickly to directions
- Assisting with lighting and technical set up
Skills
- Proven experience as First Assistant Director or similar production position
- Experience in filming and set production
- Knowledge of relevant production quality standards
- Outstanding communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Fast pace production experience
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: Up to $500.00 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
